For all the PC users that want to run Mac's OS X
that's gotta be slow
if i accuried a copy of Cherry OS and wanted to try osx out on my pc
would it be possible to use my osx disc that came with my powerbook?
If y'all want to know, I can try to acquire a copy and load it onto my desktop.
there was someone asking about a product like that in a thread yesterday. it was a desktop thread i think
i'm dying to know how well this works
I'm VERY interested in OS X but haven't used it enough to really desire purchasing a whole new computer
EDIT: A trial is available for the program. Obviously you need OS X so it'll take a while to attain it but I will let you guys know how it goes.
If memory serves, the developers of this product merely ripped off PearPC which is GPL licensed. There was a controversy about it about 6 months ago. All in all, I would avoid it for this reason alone. OSX runs under pear at this point and has for awhile. If you want, read the cherryos stickied thread on the pearpc.net forums for details.
