LOS ANGELES -- A California Highway Patrol officer fatally shot her husband in Compton, saying he had abused her, sheriff's deputies said Sunday.
Authorities said the officer was not arrested, pending an investigation.

The CHP officer, who was not identified, called authorities at 11:07 p.m. Saturday. She said she shot her husband in the upper torso in the 400 block of Amantha Avenue after he became "verbally and physically combative," said sheriff's Deputy Rick Pedroza.

Wish there were more details :o

That's the worse thing about female cops. They are much more likely to use deadly force because they can't physically take on an average man.

statistically speaking female cops are less likely to use deadly force than male cops

Suspects are less likely to challenge a female and become combative towards one versus a smaller size, younger male officer.
