I am looking for some good christian metal, any suggestions
Seriously, Blindside, As I Lay Dying and Norma Jean are some good ones.
Living Sacrifice, Extol and Crimson Moonlight all feature pro-christianty lyrics
Demon Hunter and Pillar
old underoath is super christian
Thats a joke right?
yet extremly not metal
christian rock sucks
I'm atheist and like some Christian rock. Leave noob.
Yeah, especially the positive messages in "Asshole Gassholeen", "Suck and Fuck and Cook and Clean", and "On the Rag". Oh, and who can forget "Heterosexuals Have the Right to Rock"?
Unless there's a Christian band with a really poorly chosen name that I haven't heard of...
For real Christian metal, how metal do you mean?
For really hard and heavy, check out Living Sacrifice.
For 80s hair metal, check out Tourniquet.
For really good hard rock sort of in the same class as Tesla or Guns 'N' Roses, Guardian can't be beat.
For early 90s flannel-shirt rock, check out 3rd Day.
As I Lay Dying
Zao is good
are you kidding? act of depression and cries from the past are as metal as it gets, but then again youve probly never heard either of those albums
right. because i'm not the resident OG metal head or anything...
i just don't consider the band as a whole 'metal'
zao is metal, as i lay dying is metal, norma jean is metal.
i'm even hesitant to say from first to last is metal...but they border i guess. the most recent underaoath is about as metal as the used, wouldn't you say?
Sicklife, you like metal?
The most recent Underoath is prettttty tame if you ask me. Probably what Story of The Year would sound like if they got a keyboardist who used to be in a Stabbing Westward tribute band....
as i lay dying
what the fuck else would i like?
stabbing westward's first 2 albums were so good though
Totally agree with ya on SW...those songs still stack up to today's stuff!
their last 2 albums changing of times and only chasing safety are garbage i agree but im telling you find the first 2 cds, act of depresion and cries from the past. i think youd be pleasently suprised
I like some Zao
I'm going to this show on Oct 3rd.
I really like that band Kutless, though most of you probably wouldn't consider it "metal", it's good none the less.
Not like Botch is even playing together anymore, so who cares?
