does anyone know of anywhere that has the ciener conversion kit for sale? Seems most places are out of stock.

i wanted one too, but then i realized that its not worth it, you'll probably have more fun with a 10/22

already have a 10/22... don't really enjoy it that much... probably because the trigger sucks and I'm too cheap to do anything about it.

Just bought an a/r, so figured I'd sell the 10/22 for the ciener kit, and be able to enjoy the ar more.

probably not a good idea in CA dude, since all it takes is a bolt removal and you are deep into AW territory. I would say just get a dedicated .22LR upper.

I'll be using a non-detachable magazine set up for the ar... without that, the ar I got will already be deep into AW territory. Having a dedicated .22lr upper won't make a difference.

i might get my GF a stripped AR lower this summer, and push her to get a dedicated .22lr upper because of ammo costs :dunno:

then after a while, if she doesnt want it, i'll buy it from her :coold:

    i have one.. its garbage
It really has some feeding issues and likes expensive ammo.

  13. That's a good idea. I can't interest my GF in the AR, she just likes her 10/22 too much to be bothered to shoot the AR. I should get her one, and then take it back!

ceiners work good I got one but you need to put about 1-2 bicks through them till it starts working good or just watch tv and push it back and forth, the metal is rough and you need to have it rub with no lube to smooth it out.

doing .223 with evil features and a fixed mag... just want to be able to switch back and forth between .22lr and .223 for when I don't feel like breaking the bank to shoot.

i shot one one time too, out of an m4gery. it seemed funner than my 10/22. practicing on the same manual of arms for about 5% of the normal price can have its benfeits. the one i shot didn't have any feeding problems in a BDM mag.

I'll be picking one up as soon as they become available online.

    Spikes tactical makes quality shit.

Some people on ARF have reported already putting thousands of round through the new 22lr uppers without any FTFs.

I just want their 22lr bolt.
