anyone use em? ordered a filter holder, rings, and two nd grads. should get it next week
I've never used them but I've heard good things
I want one really bad
My friend got them about two weeks ago. I went out to shoot with her a few days later...they made a much bigger difference than I expected. I took the same photo with the filter and one without, I'll ask her to send it to me today.
definetely post pics. I thought they were all sold out everywhere?
nope plenty in stock at b&h
if there is a really bright sky and it's a good photo I take the raw and develop two pics, one exposed for the sky and one exposed for the ground and blend them with a gradient as the layer mask. it'll be easier to use a filter and not mess with ps
I just bought a holder, a 3-stop ND filter and a 2-stop graduated ND filter yesterday at Glazer's. Excited to try it out.
Looking through the Cokin booklet, there seems to be a ton of filters to try. Their website sucks though.
I have heard good things about them
they look like ass
I'm curious to see how well they stay in place when you're moving around. I've got a holder and a few step down rings someplace (no clue why), but never actually tried it out
I played around with it but it was dark so couldn't use it. Felt very snug.
I love mine so much I use it indoors too
