Yep interview question right thereBonding interfaces will not give you double throughput on a single transfer thread FYI.
Unsure if it works on non-ubiquiti stuff, but there is a app called WifiMan(iOS) that may help you map whats going on in your house.

Depending on the platform, getting 4 DIMM's to run at XMP can be problematic...why would I need luck?
My work laptop is an MSI, and my new home build is an MSI board.I've had bad luck over the years with MSI. Motherboards, mainly, but enough that it's soured me on buying anything MSI.
This is just one more thing.
That being said, all consumer brands have their pros and cons, yes. I just, personally, dislike MSI enough to shit on them every chance I get. I've had decent experience with the Aorus line of MBs, so now that EVGA is RIP I'm probably going to go with an Aorus version of <whatever fucking GPU I can find when I care about GPUs again>.

Yeah. With only 2 sticks the RAM I have in this machine (X570 5950X) will run at 3866 14 14 14 30, with 4 it will only run at 3732. Those are all manual timings that took quite a while to dial in.could get interesting. Runing 2x32GB now so we'll see what 4x32GB is like. I've read that it can bump them from 3600 down to 3200

What platform do you have? CPU/MB?
What memory are you running? Are all 4 sticks the same part number?AMD Ryzen 9 5900X w/ ASUS X570-E mainboard
Hopefully both kits use the same modules.

With Kingston...a bit higher than average.with todays supply chain, I wonder what the odds of that are?
can you get starlink up there?Going to try a reseller for an ISP. They claim 20mbps upload, which is twice my current. Could actually use Plex remotely.
Also double my download speed yet $20/month less.![]()
