The computer will boot and will get to the OS. I'll be able to use it for maybe 5 minutes at the most before the entire thing freezes. A while ago I woke up in the morning, went to the computer and saw that the display was fucked. There were misc. lines and whatnot on the screen. It was frozen at this point. I looked at the case and saw a residue of some sort of liquid on the top and instantly froze. I took it apart and saw no signs on liquid inside (It has a vent on to so if something was spilled on it it could have flowed into the case from the vent) I still have no idea what this could have been. I did see some sort of stain on the ceiling which could have been from some water... Anyhow I would think that if water got in, it would have fried the entire thing, but what gets me is the fact that it will start just fine but the freeze moments later... almost as if it freezes when it gets to a higher temp. All fans are working properly. I swapped the ram, cpu, and video card - Still the same problem. On video card that I put in there gives it a normal display, the other one (the one that was in there that day it died) is the one wherer it has the fucked display. My question is, what could it be? Could it be the mobo freezing after awhile? The HD and disk drives all work... WWhat in the same hell could this be?
