TECH computer help...

ok so dell computer with sound system. unplugged power to sound system and then later plugged back in an rear jacks no longer work.

So i plugged into the front jacks.. they worked.

Then had to unplug for something else and it did the same thing. now no sound from either.

Any help?

Did you try a reboot? What OS?

By unplugging it, it didn't switch the operating systems' output to some shit like spdif?
