2 weeks as a brown belt and already won Worlds
The most confusing 3 minutes ever.
1. She's fucking big. And strong.
2. I have NEVER done that throw before.
3. She tried to call a fucking time out cause she had a hand cramp. WTF? Then refused to start and the ref DQed her, verbal tap.
Wow, that's a huuuuuuge bitch. She looks like Bebop from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Reminded me of Genki Sudo fighting Butterbean.
Nice drop saonaige
I'm 5'8" and 150 lb pounds for reference, I'm not little!
She's a monster... She pushed her opponents boobs into her throat earlier in the day and tried to choke her with them. Rofl.
Goddamn that chick dwarfs you Duff
Video of that?
I didn't screen capture but I'm sure you can find something similar on efuckt.com *nws*
perfect throw for the situation, surprised you haven't practiced it it looked pretty good!
do some judo!
You put 20lbs back on since ADCC?
What a woman! Is she single?
That chick looks bigger than me and I'm 6'3" 195lbs haha.
oh fuck, nice throw. She land on her hand funny or something and called it?
she was wincing before the throw
seriously. i'd be afraid to go for that on someone so huge.
**Thanks everyone. Huge thank you to all my sponsors, especially MTX Audio, Jiu Jitsu Pro Gear, and Bill MacPherson for making all my competition possible.
My matches: Middleweight: Just had one here, against Sheila Bird, a very tough black belt from Canada. Quickly into the match she got two advantages for some tough takedowns that I managed to scramble out of once she put me on my ass. Realizing I was outclassed on the feet, I pulled guard. For five minutes Sheila played to posture but not to pass, and it made attacking impossible. She received a stalling warning, a negative advantage, and finally they stood us up and gave me two points. I pulled right away and started working. I went for a triangle but my legs gave out on me quickly and she nearly passed. I went to deep half guard where she caught a kimura and I used the opportunity to get on top, where I received sweep points. I took her back and locked a body triangle as time ran out.
Open weight: First was against a lightweight brown belt, Leticia, from Check Mat. She grabbed my leg, I gave up the two points and jumped guard, triangled her, rolled to mount and finished her.
Second match was against a heavyweight, Katie. We played from the feet until it hit me that she was 30 lbs heavier and way stronger than me, and I jumped guard. A few minutes of work and I got the triangle, rolled to mount, and finished.
Third match was against Gabrielle Garcia. She is bigger than you can imagine, holy hell. And stronger too. She pushed me around and the ref was telling me he was going to take points away if I kept fleeing the mat. She was pushing me out! Hahah. I took a hard slap to the face but I don't think it was personal. Then, in an act of either God or Judo, I waited for her to push and hit a drop saionage (sp?) that, for the record, I have never, ever done before except drilling one time in Texas before ADCC. The IBJJF rules state that controlled on takedowns must be maintained for 3 seconds or the throw must be an ipon, with the back flat on the mat, to get the two points. So I got them, despite her getting back up. Here's the part where knowing Portuguese helped me out. She said, "Stop, stop, I've got a cramp," and she started to work out the cramp in her hand. I'm fucking pissed, because never once have I gotten to take a timeout. She didn't use the word for "wait" or "hold on," she said "stop." And so the ref said, "fine, verbal tap." And raised my hand. Then she said for us to go fuck ourselves, blah blah. It sucked, because I don't like anyone to be mad at me, I've got nothing but respect for her, and I don't want to win that way, but rules are there for a reason and by our level you should know the rules in and out.
Copied that from the UG, sorry. :/
Yea asking for a timeout in a 1 on 1 grappling sport is a little ridiculous. Only timeouts they give in wrestling or judo that I've experienced have been for overly disgusting nosebleeds or similar bleeding injuries, hand cramp = get off the mat or suck it up...
So after you threw her she started to say "stop, stop etc etc" ......
Is that why you got off of her?
pretty sure they were OOB also
I got up after the throw cause the ref saidwe were out of area.
*When hte athlete request that are eagerning caimbras, will be the same as if he taps.
From the ibjjf rules. It's in engrish but caimbras=cramps.
