I need some form of portable music and im considering an ipod for ease of use. Ive never used one before but I would probably plan on getting a full size one, probably 40gb.

Anyone have issues with them at all? Or anything they DONT like about them? All I hear is good things, I wanna hear some of the bad so Im not surprised.

Looks like you'll be buying an old iPod then.

old is fine, its still got a headphone output and can carry 40gbs of songs, why spend the money on the marketing hype? Screw that, ill find a cheap used 40gb, unless I hear bad things about em I dont need video. Just mp3s to give my sennheiser hd580's something to do.

I have the 40gb and love it. I also use it as a portable hard drive to transfer large graphic files to and from my freelance accounts.
