Did you mix anything into the cream cheese?
one 8oz block of cream cheese (sat on counter for an hour to soften up a bit)
1 cup of fine shredded sharp cheddar
dash of salt, black pepper, garlic powder and onion powder....not more than a half of a small teaspoon of each, but i didn't measure
mixed the fuck out of it as best i could
i filled each pepper, placed a sausage on top and wrapped with bacon
sounds easy, takes forever lol
