(AP) - A black bear that broke into five homes in Beaver Creek has been killed by state wildlife officers. Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman Randy Hampton says the nearly 300-pound bear ripped the door off one home with people inside. The bear was tracked and killed last weekend. Hampton says bears will go where the trash is to find food and wildlife officers have noticed a lot of trash left out at homes and businesses. Beaver Creek requires trash be stored in bear-resistant containers. A record 59 bears were killed in Colorado last year after threatening people or breaking into buildings. -- Bear should of already been dead when it broke into the occupied home, what kind of idiots live in bear country and don't have a gun.
