It's been an absolute joy to shoot with
The more you use it the more you'll like it. One program I'd recommend you looking into is Nikon Capture 4.2 if you don't already have it. For manipulating raw NEF's it's awesome. Also go to Nikon's website and download for free the latest version of Nikon View if you don't already have it.
is nikon capture included with the software?
No, it's sold seperately.
I like your second shot the best, but perhaps it would benefit from a little more depth or field or less sharpening overall. I feel the player's head pops out a little too much, but that may just be my own personal taste
2 is a good shot
I acually like the first one the best.
good job man.
Nudes of girl in #3?
That's just using the in-camera sharpening.
I like the shot. I saw that it was shot at f/4. another stop down would probably bring the rest of the arm into clearer focus in respect to his head/face -- like his hand is.
Since it's already taken, just a little extra area sharpening on the arm might help make him seem a little more uniform in focus
anywhere to download them online?
I've got 4.1 and it's pissing me off. It keeps on saying that it can't find my camera when it's attached.
Oh, here's a new shot from tonight. . .
my nikon does the same exact thing
amazing...color looks a bit off to me but it might just be my monitor
ok so i can't say that without making an attempt to show you what i mean...a bit of balancing in ps
dunno maybe i'm just on crack
that one looks a little too warm, at least on the cork. the water is fine, just looks like sunset
Hmm, I like that. . . I'll have to play around with it a little more.
yeah i dont mean to be buchering anyones pictures, im taking color photo now and am obsessed with adjusting the colors because i do it all day long
You might need to go into the menu on your camera and switch the USB mode. That screwed me up when I first got my camera too.
And I really like that pic.
Pool shot is nice. Was it staged or active?
Like the cork too. Untouched beach sand is always nice.
the software should have come with the camera........ but its a 30 day trial version. gives you the chance to try before you buy and its only about $90 from adorama or b&h
Actual game. Nothin' fake here
Nikon Capture 4.1 doesnt work with the d-70. You need to get 4.2
Im pretty sure thats the case, i am using 4.2 and it works fine.
That's what I figured.
Yes it does .
