Two weeks ago I started doing military presses again (shoulders are Tuesday, so I have done these twice), and I now have this intense pain in both shoulders when I try to do these (Bradford press included). I always did dumbbell presses for four months and never had a problem. Do you think my form is bad, or is it the combination of the barbell and my shoulder (I have dislocated it a few times during football)? What other lifts can I do when I go home (I don't have dumbbells for DB shoulder presses)? Also, what is the purpose of a carb-up day that I see in a lot of diets now?
