I am going to be building me a new rig this winter and had a couple questions about some parts...

For gaming should I go with Intel or AMD?
When do the new DX10 cards come out and are they worth waiting for?
Whats a good gaming motherboard now?
For the video card should I go AGP or PCIE?

    Any suggestions are welcomed, thanks!

    Intel Duo Core
DX10 cards are already out, they're around $450-$500
Asus P5B Deluxe is good for duo cores which is what I just got, also hear gigabyte is good
PCIE, I don't think they even make dx10 cards in AGP, AGP is getting phased out.

Speed is limited as these processors multitask very well. You won't be dissapointed.

The processor you picked, 6600 Conroe, is perfect.

I was getting geek wood until I saw the power supply.

I would go with a major brand if I was you.

You could trust every power supply on this list:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=Property&Subcategory=58&Description=&Type=&srchInDesc=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&Manufactory=1516&Manufactory=1697&Manufactory=1918&Manufactory=2031&Manufactory=1389&Manufactory=9830&PropertyCodeValue=1314%3A14179

I'm running an E6600 with an eVga 7900GT superclocked with 2gb and three hard drives
and it's all running on a 550 watt Antec True Power. Rock steady.
So that Antec True Power Trio 650 watter will work perfectly.
