What are some good alternatives to surefire brand batteries, and where do you guys buy em?
And before buying
I use these though http://www.batteryjunction.com/1pcsofcrteli.html
I get my Surefires for $1.50 from work
But I'm currently using rechargeables.
I bought a shitload of Energizer brand CR123s from Best Buy awhile back, they were on sale for $1 each
I usually just order whatever "bulk pack" brand Brightflashlights is selling.
I ordered rechargeables from dealextreme
buy 'em in bulk on ebay
Brightflashlights.com I ordered 12 Energizer Lithiums for ~$13.
I did some research today at work since I don't want to keep spending money on CR123As....the DealExtreme rechargeable (UltraFire) 3.6v RCR123s + charger was the best deal at $22 shipped for the charger and 4 batteries. Also did some research on the runtimes etc and they're right up there with the best.
Make sure your flashlight can take rechargeable CR123
That, too. I know my T10C2 will handle the 3.6Vs just fine.
I get the surefires from Sportsmans warehouse for pretty cheap.
I use the Titanium brand batteries from Battery Junction, but those Tenergy batteries look good, too.
All of you should read this thread - http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=117117
yeah on ebay you can get a 12 pack for about $12 and free shipping
if you buy a case from surefire they come out to 1.88 shipped ea. thats probably as cheap as you can get quality 123s
