I posted this in the main but desire some input
like it then, like it now.
need to venture out of yard.
I dont mean to hijack, but whatcha think about mine to?
^ Little boring needs more contrast
i like it but i wish the tree wasnt clipped. and i would make it a full sillohuette. because teh slight details divert my eyes.
I clipped the palm tree because there is a nasty piece of my house in the way
if you remove the street light, it will look even better.
Nice sunset, nice tree, shitty location.
how do you like that lens?
should i get that or go for a wide angle 12-24?
I love it!
I like leaving the house with one lens! FTW
they're so expensive. how much did you pay for yours?
I paid $726 then I got a $50 gift card.
So $676 out the door from Best Buy.
I had them price match Ritz, give me the discount, I used a coupon and then got a reward zone gift card
I only want a 50mm f/1.4 or f/1.8 and I'm done with my collection for a while.
considering how long you've been looking for a cheap 1.8, i'm surprised you paid that much for lens
whats the retail on that thing?
Retail I think is $729.
The lens is still pretty difficult to get your hands on and it won't be going down in value. I've had it for about 6 months.
there are a ton on Craigslist that are selling them in my area.
but, they're selling it for only like $50 less than what i can get online or in a local shop, even.
I'd rather buy from a dealer and get the 5 year warranty
yeah, but you can buy warranties from calumet for lenses for like $70
All things considered at the time it was a pretty good deal and still is. It's hard to find that lens for less than $700
lame. i'd rather buy a wide angle.
You think you would...
Then you would get a wide-angle and find out that it gets old quickly
This lens is much more versatile.
Look at this clarity brosef
that lens is also $300 more than a wide angle.
i guess i just have to borrow one and use it for a day and see if i like it
Yeah but then I can go zoom this
