Shot with PlusX and developed in d76 stock.
hmmmmmmmmmmm, don't see anything.
I would like to see those images with more contrast. They have a really flat look to them.
1st and 3rd images are the best of the four, imho
The problem is that most people will stare at your images and wonder what they are looking at.
as abstracts, I think #3 works best
Most people on OT..Yea.
1) is too far away, perhaps if you shot it more macro or closer up it would be better.
2) The focus seems to be to the left and maybe it would work better if it was in the center of the larger tube on the right. But maybe not, it's hard to say because I do like it the way you shot it too.
3 and 4) I like the idea but I would like to see the focus on the object in the center. I'm not too sure but yeah I think maybe direct the focus that way more. But as a series it would be cool to keep those included.
They are nice shots though and I love black and white, and I find the contrast fine on these.
The focus is because of the scanners autofocus...When I printed them on an enlarger the focus is fine.
Theres a full range of tones, but they still seem a little flat, atleast the first 2 do. But I have a feeling that printing them darker or with more contrast would ruin it, so I'm at a loss.
Black and white really need to be seen in person to be appreciated. monitors just don't do them any justice
the tubes was cool but other than that, im not horribly impressed. I don't think the others should be B&W.
