There need to be more cases like this.
I agree in theory, but it bothers me that he was so juiced on adrenaline that he was yelling at the dispatcher. Not that I would be any less excited, but I'd rather he had been calmer.

At least he feels bad about killing the guy. I don't care who someone is or what bad thing they're doing, you should always feel bad about killing someone. It's not good for your mental health to be able to shrug off something like that.

btw this is the 2nd shooting in Orlando this year that resulted to the death of the criminal

Story was written in an extremely sympathetic tone.
I see she was very careful to include key pieces of information demonstrating compliance with the law, regret of the shooter, nature of the weapon (protect his disabled mother...what a gimme!)

Bah. I'd feel fulfilled that I was responsible for removing a predator from our society. I don't subscribe the the philosophy that all life is precious. To me, if you decide to prey on society and not be an honest contributor, your life is no longer precious.

The problem is, I'm pretty sure he's serious.
I not only drive around with it, I walk around with it everywhere I can. And I'd have no qualms using it to end a threat.
