Ripped 505 off the floor last night @ 166. My buddy told me it probably wouldn't count in comp. (or rather would be up to the judges discretion) but he thought I may have had a slight down-up motion somewhere amidst my lift. I didn't notice it cuz I thought it went up easy as hell, maybe a lil at the top before lockout is what he meant tho. In any case, he called me a "back lifter" and said I should start pulling SLDL to get my hams stronger (and I know they suck, so I agree). Then again, I also need to take it w/ a grain of salt (kinda) since he's close to 200 and pulls 515-520. So my questions/concerns: Lockout strength: Focus on rack pulls Hams etc: SLDL Correct? Also, I have XTEND and AMP. Since I'm too fucking lazy to read into some shit, what's the general consensus about the stuff? I'm following the directions on XTEND, 3-4 scoops pre/during workout. It also says to take 1 scoop right after. Should I throw that bitch into my PWO shake? AMP: any certain times I should take this? I took 2 this morning before class. I'm thinking 2 before lifting..amirite? Hollar back yo.
