Well guys it's that time of year. Maybe we should begin this thread talking about where we ended 2020?

After screwing up my knee in January I finally got back to cranking out some good (for me) FTP numbers by year end.

Stats for 2020 are as follows:

Distance6,793.3 mi
Time358h 35m
Elev Gain214,649 ft
Rides299

Within a couple years I'd like to be biking as many miles as I'm driving, that could be fun.

Ditched a few other hobbies and got back into biking on dirt (both mtb and bmx). I did something like 100 miles of dirt jump sets for the whole year, and a few hundred xc miles of low speed tech stuff where I averaged about 5 miles per ride. Small numbers but in the context of dirt jumps and rock gardens it seemed substantial to me.

No stupid road miles for me last year or this year. Now its time for fat bike miles with the dogs all winter.

Oh and I got some Titanium cranks recently

This year I'm doing old-school base miles, time in the saddle. I'm using a work schedule that goes from 7:00-3:30, so that will give me a range of ~3-5 hours of riding each day after work. Hopefully a season of killing in the cat-3 races for the next CX season. I need the vaccine.

The other goal, if I get to travel again this year, is the Sandia Crest Climb sub 90-minutes.

I hardly rode at all

industry burned me out and I just played video games instead

see what 2021 brings

I have no stats haven't ridden with a computer since 2013

Same, I bought a PS4 at the start of COVID and now just ordered parts for a gaming PC

hope you’re doing ok, amigo.

And wtf. I haven't been in the market for a new bike in a while. Now that I'm searching for a gravel bike, why are all of them ugly. Is it too much to as for a normal color with not too many logos?

Tons of low speed tech riding really cost me on the overall distance in 2020. HOWEVER, my riding is stronger than ever. :coold:

still recovering from my crash...road rash is not fun. Went on two short rides, end up getting pretty irritated/scabs breaking
