A man named Göran Kropp from Sweden rode his bicycle to Nepal, climbed Mount Everest alone without Sherpas or bottled oxygen, then cycled back to Sweden again.

LMAO I may not have much for mileage but my elevation per mile is pretty good

Here all we have are rollers. It's tough to get more than 200' between your highest and lowest point on a ride. When Strava divides the elevation gain on the graph, its in 50' increments. When I ride in Marana, AZ, its 1000' increments.

Bloody hell that's flat as fuck. I'll get 19,000 in a month.

Yeah we don't have much for hills if I'm road riding. I really piled on the elevation with MTB rides and bmx rides at the jumps this year.

I only hit 10,00 miles last year because of a bad crash and stupid not being able to ride my trainer at all.

Where are you guys getting these cute little spreadsheet cut and pastes? I can’t find my last years stats on Strava anymore.

Has anyone gotten carbon road wheels and felt like the upgrade wasn't worth it? Maybe I should just leave everything on my Allez Sprint Disc stock lol

What wheels are on their now?

General answer is wheels are always worth an upgrade - easiest way to buy speed over stock setup. Lots of options out there now though, tubeless, wider rims for bigger tires, depth, etc. Gotta figure out what you need.

DT R470 Disc, sealed cartridge hubs, 14g spokes, 24h. I put on GP5000 tubeless 28mm

Or maybe since it’s a cannondale it snapped a part and all they had was a mtb bar

Carbon wheel quality can be all over the map and if your aluminum wheels were close in weight and have better hubs, that will affect how much difference there is. I have aluminum wheels that weigh 1460 grams (advertised, they definitely feel light) and have quality hubs. May go with a slightly deeper carbon wheel (38 mm vs 31 mm) from the same builder. Won't save much weight (10 grams) but should get a small aero advantage.
