If they want to be legal, it has to be passed through Congress - not through an executive order. If it is challenged, as it will be on Sept 5th if not rescinded by President Trump, then it will lose.

and this is the problem. lax enforcement, or rather politically influenced enforcement, causes this issue to spiral out of control. missing in this entire discussion is who bears the responsibility for this situation? the government for letting illegal immigration go undeterred or illegal immigrants? how is this program fair to other immigrants who legally applied for citizenship?
