That's because they'll usually sell out of meat by then. On busy days, the best options will sell out well before some of those places close.

at least with my dislocated shoulder the doc was ok with me going no sling so i could plant my elbow on my desk and type the next day

Ha, I've been there a couple of times. Pretty solid and you can sneak into a reservation through cancellations. I'd prefer just going to Uchi without all the hassle

The keiichi chef is italian trained as well, but one of the dishes was way over salted imo -- which made me not want to order any of those dishes from there again.
