Dammit I'm outta shape.
you did this your first time back?
Well I always had a mediocre workout routine. I decided to bump it up and really focus on getting healthy.
Yeppers. Today was the groups rest day, but we threw that together.
I need to start doing lunges
Squats yesterday and my DOMS is kicking in.
I'm cripped after my Friday workout. I did about 6 sets of squats ... a couple of them were 225x2 ... I literally can't walk, sit down, do anything.
Ouch, I remember when I first started doing squats & lunges - I felt invincible at first...but the next morning rolled around, which wasn't nearly as bad as the days after that. There were times when it hurt to sit on the toilet seat to take a crap
I had DOMS for about an entire week! It was awkward to walk around my college campus in pain, let alone go out into Boston
I guess we can all probably relate to this, from now on I'll remember to stretch even though I can handle those lifts now lol
screwed my knee up a little bit a couple weeks ago, haven't done legs in 2 weeks... todays' the big day and I bet I'll be sore until friday
I didn't have trouble making it to the toilet seat. Gravity helped about half wy through the squat. No muscle control past that point.
Getting up and wiping my ass was a test of dexterity and will power.
I never really worked legs much. I'm real flexible and hated having my hamstrings and quads tight.
Well, fuck it, I've negleted legs too long.
