Awesome, thanks a lot. I've really been liking databases a lot and one of my professors suggested picking up a theory book because of how interesting they are.
Good book. It covers the general principles as well as some data mining (the uni stopped offering the data mining class but apparently would continue the class with this book). It is a bit dry and can get heavy at times. I still refer to it now and then.
