You ever run a business ? if you havent imagine if you decided to fuck off and not pay your bills for months and see how the banks and your creditors will treat you. You will walk into a boarded home, no car and wondering why ? the amount of money lost to these business on a single day can be damn right painful but now you know you have a work force that thinks it can pull this stunt ? so you want to keep then around for the next day they cost you 100s of thousands of dollars is loss ? seriously... cmon man.

Because they are trying to run a business not a political activist group. Their employees didn't show up for work after being explicitly told they would be terminated. What would you do with an employee that disobeyed you? They choose their own fate.
