seriously not worth doing?
i prefer BB curls... or preacher BB curls.
There worth doing, but do them closer to the end of your workout. They shouldnt be one of your core exercises unless your trying to tone imo.
i'd throw in a set at the end of my workout every now and then. but i've heard some people say you're better off not doing them and just sticking to compound movements with other exercises
i like barbell curls or hammer curls, i dont think curls are worthless it just depends what your goals are really
People just like to tell you stuff.
There not one of the strength program exercises, but its not hurting you isolating muscles.
my right arm was overcompensating on bb curls, so i switched to db. but with all the pulling on back exercises it's become pretty superficial.
D.B. helps your wrists too i find.
I can only do db's till my forearm heals
i do db preachers for 3 sets at the end of back day.
I mix DB with barbell and machine
I haven't done curls often in a long long time because after doing pullups or rows my biceps are pretty gone. but I've noticed they are severely lacking compared to the rest of my arm.
db is better than bb cuz it works out your supinators
everyone says for muscle mass, focus on compound movements
only DB curls i do are hammer curls
you said tone, that's why they're laughing
I do them at the end of back day as well on an incline bench decreasing the incline and increasing the weight each set.
incline db hammer curls.
how long have you been lifting for?
