I screwed up my back doing deadlifts once and was wondering if there is a suitable alternative to them? I have watched the vids and seen the tutorials on doing them but I still don't feel comfortable with form or how I am lifting. The LAST thing I want to do is mess my back up again. I have asked the "trainers" at my gym to help with form and even offered to pay for a session but all they want to do is show me why I shouldn't do them. Granted these guys could possibly pass for broly crew and one dude is jacked like Bateman (no bullshit). So....alternatives? Do they exist? Suggestions? Anyone wanna meet me at my gym and show me?
