Just wondering. When training with dls, not prs. How do you guys grip it? Under-over, over, etc.
"When training with dls, not prs."
no gym for home?
i mean like would there be a symmetry difference with your back if you use under over all the time. Or if it doesn't matter. Because someone commented on a diff in their lower back from left and right. So they switch up their grip every set.
one hand over one hand under
I am assuming "When training with dls, not prs." = "When doing reps with DLs and not trying for personal records."
i double over hand till about 365 then switch.
Correct. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I got it now. Switch it up.
if i'm doing a 5x5 scheme i'll go
left pronated, right supinated
right sup, left pro
i go overhand as long as i can and then i'll alternate mixed grip when i have to. Although, i feel more comfortable double-overhand, there's something about over/under i just don't like. i don't know if there's anything to this or not though
probably because the under grip is what causes people to tear their biceps
i usually grip it with just my right hand and squeeze moderate to hard
I do over/over....is that alright?
yes. though once you cant hold it anymore (becuase it will harder to hold) switch to an over under
Sooo...what is a prs?
