For all the PL'ers, What is the deal with thigh involvement with the Deadlift? I've been told 2 different techniques... 1. Once the bar is past the knees, glide/slide it up the thigh till lockout 2. Avoid doing 1 because it becomes more of a "thigh lift" I've noticed once I get it past my knee, I can usually slide it up my thigh without hitching. But I feel more comfortable not touching the thigh. What's your opinion? Is it legal to do this in competition?
