Seriously tired of breaking mine all the fucking time
I was thinking about snap on
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Snap On considers punches to be consumable, and doesn't warranty them for life. I just use a set from Craftsman. Any quality punch will last a while.
I'll give you a set of punches. I'll knock you the fuck out
What kind are you breaking? I've used the same set of craftsman punches the last two years without problems. I had some before that ended up breaking but I can't remember the brand
Was the one i had
Until i grab you head and you can only swing at the air
you don't use brass punches?!? way to scratch up your fucking rifle, man. shit. you cut the value in half
Dont miss and it wont fuck up your rifle, and I have a soild piece of brass that i use to knock sights out
Don't know if I would call them great or not. I've never broken any. For $5.99, if they break I'll just buy another set.
nothing from harbor freight is "great". never count on it. as soon as you do, it'll break
These are what I've been using. They've help up fine. Although I really don't see much of a difference between yours and mine. I've only used them for guns. I've got another set I use for auto and household work.
I've got Brownells punches, ones I've gotten from a machinest, and the cheapest stuff I could find. They are all considered consumables by me, but apparently I'm hard on shit. When I break more, I'll prolly just buy some more cheapies.
Don't have tons of their stuff but what I do have are the best tools I own.
I got a set of Grace screwdrivers and punches a few years ago for Christmas. Haven't broken any of the punches yet.
I have dascos as well. Cheap, and I haven't broken any yet, so I'm alright with them so far.
I use allen wrenches as punches
Ive done this in a pinch and ussually breake them, got one stuck in the roll pin and after that was like never doing it again
I roll pretty hard
I don't know what all they offer their warranty on but I think brownells offers a lifetime warranty on their screwdriver bits. I've had a couple replaced for free over the years, no shipping or anything, just ask and a new one in the mail to me. Might see if they offer something like that for punches.
I had a brownells roll pin punch deform on me and they refunded me.
