Well im finally in a position where I will be able to afford to purchase a firearm. I am torn on two guns. NEW Hi-Point 9mm carbine USED Mossberg 500 Hunting Sport (or Special? I forget??) Im a skinny guy, 6' 2" - 170lbs soaking wet, would the 12 guage be too much to start off with? I want to get something I will be able to shoot and get comfortable with, mostly just for target practice and such. Will shooting a 12 guage for half a day wear me out, or should I be alright? I figure the 9mm probably has less kick to it. But the Mossberg just feels so damn smooth. Its used, but in great condition. Both guns are $199... Go with Mossberg for the name? Or go with the 9mm because I will be able to get more use from it? I like the idea of the 9mm because the ammo is interchangable if I decide to also pickup a handgun. Buy both? And handgun? How do I decide?
