Ok, my first official post on F&N. About a year back I decided to get back into the gym. Wanting to show off and seeing what I could handle I bench pressed 200lbs about 3 times after a short warm up(something I was never able to achieve years previous). Next week I was sore as hell. I had trouble reaching the seat belt in my car, trouble putting the phone to my ear, etc. After the initial week of pain, I tried to bench again and could barely muster to put up 80lbs. Does anyone know what happened to me? What routines would anyone recommend so that I do not have that happen in future? Thanks before hand.
