Since the weather is finally turning from complete shit here in Utah I decided to detail the SO's Mazda. She got it in January it had ZERO wax on it and major swirling especially on the C pillars. I took before pictures but they didn't turn out and didn't show how bad the swirls really were.. I can has orange peel Mazda? This would only be my second detailing with the PC so be gentle Optimum Compound with orange LC pad Optimum Polish with white LC pad NXT 2.0 with black LC pad I think it turned out quite well. It took the polish a lot easier than my black TL does. It does have some buffer haze it appears in certain lightining Now for a few questions...I have about 4 more cars coming up soon to detail, one of them is an older one with a bit more oxidation. Would I be better off with a heavier cut pad with Optimum Compound or getting a harsher compound while still using an orange LC pad.
