Wise choice. Blizzard sucks and the new standard is to release a broken game on launch day, saddle it with micro-transactions, then only fix issues that will generate more revenue.

Same here. I used to obsess over Resident Evil but I have not even played Resident Evil 7 or Resident Evil Village.

I'm sort of in the same boat... I don't really play much anymore. I hope D4 is good. I'll give it a whirl. Not depressed, though. Just meh about games.
My Playstation 2022 recap said I played 37 hours on PS5 for the whole year
I want to buy it, but honestly not sure d3 was fun for a bit but d2r is a lot better in my opinion. And this one I just feel like it will be more like d3.. I'll wait and see how the reviews go.

I just picked up the RE Village DLC since it came on sale. I haven't actually played REV, but I watch him play it on the big screen (and backseat..play?) and we had a blast going through RE2 and 3 remake, and REV. We did the DLC in like 2 hours, it was kind of underwhelming. Looking forward to "play" RE4 remake in the coming weeks. And by that I mean watch my son play and shout out stuff he missed and be the navigator

Yeah I feel your pains.
My worry is that they're trying too hard to satisfy both crowds instead of just making a great game. The art style looks good, but the dev team really doesn't seem to inspiring when it comes to systems/itemization. I hope I'm proven wrong

Me and the wife split it in half, toasted some burger buns we had at home, and made a regular on chicken sandwich out of it. It was actually pretty good. Not spicy though, sadly.
