I was shooting the shit at a local gun shop and made good friends with one of the guys who co-owns/works there. We started talking about firearms in general and black rifles and after talking for a little over 45 min (he didnt kick me out when they were supposed to close @ 5:30), I mentioned how expensive it is to feed my AR15 now adays. The guy ended up being really nice and sold me a case of Sellier & Bellot M193 for $340, which I thought was a fucking fantastic price considering the cost of most cases of ammunition these days. From what I have read, the only issues with S&B ammo is that it can shoot a little on the dirty side. Im just happy to have 1000 rounds of ammo that isnt wolf, for <$400. A Little Ammo Porn: Also, the shop owner threw in this badass little ammo ruck/ day sack for free: EDIT: I forgot to mention the best part; the guy invited me as his guest to go shooting at the "other" range where the local IPSC and IDPA guys shoot and hold tourneys. The store owner said that I seemed very safe (around a gun) and inquisitive, and that he would love to have me come out and learn about what they do out there. (as an aside, I know absolutely nothing about IPSC and IPDA shooting, so I plan on heading out there with a blank mind and a closed mouth until I get the lay of the land.) Camera will be there, along with the AR-15, 92FS and pictures will be taken, then posted. WMD, did I do good?
