Yesterday I was doing heavy deadlifts when I started feeling weird in my mid trap area. Later on during the military press, I ended up using a little more weight than I was used to. On the last (tenth) rep,, I had to really force it up there, but nothing extraordinary and still with good form. After that my delt strength seemes to just fallen off because I couldn't even do 3 reps at a lower weight. I then moved on to side raises and ended up doing just as much as I normally do, so I don't think my delts took a hit so much as my traps during the military press. After I showered, I started feeling a dull constant pain in my right mid traps, and it's been there for almost a full day now. Should I keep working out or rest until it goes away? What do you guys normally do to treat muscle pain?
