diet drinks... yay or nay?

    i just got some sugar free kool aid (the nock off walmart brand) in grape flavor... it says it has no cal no carbs... but it taste so damn good.. i was just thinking it beats water but is it just as good for you as water?

    Yea, in moderation :p

    It *does* have calories..anything under 5 calories a serving can be marketed as calorie-free food. For example..1 can of diet soda has approximately 4 calories. Small quibble but just an fyi. If you're using a lot of diet drinks and going hard-core ketogenic, it may impede your progress.

    For those of us on a normal clean-eating diet I see no problem with a few a day, it helps me to have something with taste to drink now and then that won't fuck up my calories for the day.
