Different Processes of Getting Fatigued

    Why is it sometimes when I'm lifting, the fatigue is gradual like I get tired on my 6th rep, then 7th becomes harder, 8th is hard as hell, and I just can't do my 9th, but at other times, the fatigue is spontaneous like I'm lifting my 6th rep, I feel good, 7th I feel a little tired, but not all that bad, and then all of a sudden I can't push out that 8th rep at all? I notice this only happens on certain exercises like on incline dumbell curls and preacher curls.
