Marvel's Stock has already jumped to that $50 mark. I was going to buy this a few months back when it was $29
I just read this should be interesting to see what happens....as long as they dont fuck with marvel movies then ill be happy. oh and move jeph loeb to some shitty desk job :
I smell a mickey mouse / Iron man team up in the making...
better yet, deadpool and foghorn leghorn would fuck some shit up
Best part of the statement...
There's so many ways this could go.
I wonder what Disneyland would feel like if I saw Marvel characters walking around the park?
It would be weird to see spiderman hanging around the castle...They'd probably make a marvel theme park for the marvel characters...
In for Marvel themed theme park somewhere on the West Coast, Avengers style!
I wouldn't mind seeing recreations of HQs, hideouts etc...would love to sit in the deadpool recliner
All current productions and deals are to proceed as planned.
The acquisition is more along the lines of the Disney/Pixar purchase years ago. Where Disney has a hands-off approach to Marvel's internal dealings. Inside the Disney family, Marvel has a better shot at reaching a larger audience with it's products; from toys, comics, tv shows, and movies.
In for all comic books to now be rated G
you'd think disney would be better off with dc (I know they're part of WB, but still)
I shall now await the announcement of the upcoming Red Hulk/Mickey Mouse team-up miniseries.
brb, getting my photo taken with deadpool
I hope Disney leaves Marvel the hell alone like they've done with Pixar.
I'm pretty sure they don't care about the comic division, but as long as they keep off the movie side, things hopefully will continue running well.
deadpool movie will now be cgi by pixar
x-men/deadpool movie rights are still owned by fox
never underestimate disney lawyers
Yeah, this will either suck (ie. Disney imposing any sort of restrictions whatsoever) or be great (ie. Hey look at all these movies we can make with all this f'n cash). I foresee no middle ground.
i agree with the puffer
