I finished this about a month ago if that counts

Edit - why when I try using the picture insert shortcut it says "media cannot be parsed" and I have to do it manually

I have 4 pairs of antique iron ends that I need to make the slats for. And 11tybillion other projects I need to start or finish. And I ain’t getting any younger.

Modding this 1986 GSXR1100 so I can put decent rubber on it. The choices for 18" sport tires are few, So I'm adapting later model 17" wheels to suit current sport tire offerings.

Before:
F6me7ik.jpeg

with 1990 17" front wheel and later rotors installed. Had to machine sleeves that were 20mm o.d. and 15mm i.d. to accept the stock axle. has to shave a couple millimeters from the face of the speedo drive to center it all up.

in the rear the axle diameter was the same but the rear caliper contacted the hub of the 1993 rear wheel, so I had to space the rotor out 2mm and machine a spacer to compensate for the wider bearing to bearing distance of the new wheel. Also had to mill 2mm from the rear caliper mount to match the 2mm offset of the rotor.

Now with tires mounted and wheels on bike

Now I'm going to machine adapters to fit a set of Nissin calipers I pirated from my stash of RC51 parts, and make a new rear brake caliper stay(o.e.m. one rubs the much wider rear tire)
Already converted the hydraulic clutch actuator to a cable system. And finally, I have to replace a couple parts in the carburetors to stop the fuel leaks. :big grin:

Garage organization and cleanup begins this week as next week I have this Christmas gift arriving:

xP9UJIO.jpeg

May accidentally order some socket trays and foam for tool organization as well but for now just getting everything into one place instead of like 10 to 20 toolboxes plus a dozen or two of packed moving boxes is going to be a blast.

Got this and some dust collection for my palm router for Christmas:

And going to order some carving blades as I'm taking a crack at carving out a seat for a chair design I have. And some light panels. And maybe an adjustable height work table, I haven't decided yet :o

I am really happy with my Ernst stuff. I have dam near a whole drawer of their socket organizers.

Just bought 2 of the trays in they make for my toolbox to organize 2 drawers. All made in the USA too :)

I mostly play with leather, but I also build stuff out of wood and metal. Couldn’t find the pics I was looking for.

I made and carried the wallet on the left for about a year before improving on my design.

I made the antler jewelry stand, the leather valet tray, the knife and sheath, and the bottle opener.

Finished this deck / pergola last month. Doing the main deck next - connecting it and converting lower portion to flagstone patio. Thing is SOLID I over engineered hard with the framing… yet ignored drainage:oopsie:

I would accept pics. Been trying to figure that part out.

I have 1 known complete socket set + 1 theoretically complete socket set + untold number of loose sockets, plus impact sockets, ratchets, wrenches, etc. that I want to get organized into hopefully the single wide 4" drawer, then figured I'd use custom cut foam for the rest since it'll be a mashup of mechanics, electrical, and woodworking tools.
