Do you go backwards or start at the beginning of a thread?

When a thread looks interesting but it has a bunch of pages, do you start at page one or the last page?

Beginning, but quite often the thread gets so long I skip a bunch of pages when I'm going back a second or more times.

Start at pg 1 to get the jist of it. Then either pg 2 or the last pg depending on how interesting the first pg was. Then read backwards from the last pg until I lose interest.

Usually page one unless it’s a thread that became huge really quick then I know it’s because of a meltdown somewhere so skip to the end to get the deets
