post a pic of it if you do
I think ARs with big scopes look goofy... just my opinion.
I rather blow a wad of cash on an acog then some big goofy looking thing on an AR, rather put a big scope on somthing more suited for it.
mine's bull-barrelled at least
no offense but that looks gay as fuck
If it were 24" maybe but carbine
yeah... i just wanted the highest magnification i could get...
it can get kinda hard to see .223 sized holes at 100+ yards
yeah... i got it for $600 though... i cant really complain
yeah... i know--- i just didnt want to shell out the extra cash...
i'm a cheapskate
Nikon 3x9, i personally think the scope looks too small
ill probably switch between a carry handle and another mueller 4.5x14-40 on mine
what mount is that?
Rock River mount
Looks like RRA designed it specifically for the ARMS pop-up too
My Colt M6700 has a Springfiled Armory scope on it.
I want to get a see-through scope mount for the carry handle. Anyone know of a good one?
the problem is that the sights on an AR are so high that you can really only get see through optics if it a zero magnification that is co-witnessed.
yeah, thats the one thing. The other option would be some pretty high scope rings, and deal with the blur of the front sight. That high-riser mount looks promising.
anything greater than 3x pretty much sees "through" the front sight. At 9x
the front sight doesn't seem to exist.
see-thru mounts are horrible things, just buy QD mounts or something
mine pretty much looks just like this - no way i could justify an acog
I'll second that. The scope "blur" is downright imperceptible. The only way it's noticable is if you're looking through the scope from about 18" away.
