What's a CO detector?

Carbon monoxide, or “CO,” is an odorless, colorless gas that can kill you.

Aren't people installing nests? Kinda expensive to replace them every 5 years, isn't 10 years the standard?

They are only $250 each. An average house has probably 20 or less so that's only $5k every 5 years to save your families lives.

20 smokes is a bit high for the average house.

Standard three or four bedroom home won't have more than 10 depending on the layout.

Any home that has gas in it should have multiple CO detectors throughout.

It is serious. You likely won't even know what's happening. You'll get a headache (maybe), then sleepy, then pass out, then die.
