Does anyone here have a bonsai tree?

I want to get my gf a kit to grow one and maintain it, but I know nothing about them except that there cool.

Any info on what I need to get would be appreciated.

Seriously though, if you want to buy her one that she grows from a seed she won’t be able to plant it until spring depending on species, so just be aware of that.

I recommend buying her a tree that’s a few years old and already shaped to your liking and then just take care of it from there, it’ll be something she can enjoy now instead of having to wait a few years to really see any results from her efforts.

damn that is cool! i waa just thinking of getting a bonsai for my office, i have this weird metal whale with a apot on its back for a plant, bonsai could be perfect there
