As with most lifts:
If you use good form, no.
If your form sucks, it's possible.
i would also think its possible with good form if you lift a lot of weight consistently for a long period of time. I'm thinking of osteoarthritis in the knee's specifically. but bear in mind that having strong muscles around a joint will help prevent oa
No matter how good your form is... weight lifting is gonna give you some problems if you go heavy, a good example being dave tate... how many injuries has the guy had
