Expensive and gay.
That's a PSL, not a Dragunov. It's overpriced. You can do much better.
They can be had for about 200 less. Lots of fun to shoot though
If you want one for fun you can find them for less. If you want something really accurate you should look at something else.
That's a PSL, the Romanian knock-off of a Dragunov which is built on an AK-47 receiver instead of a proper Dragunov receiver. Real Dragunovs will run NFA prices since they're so rare.
If only I weren't saving up for a Garand, I'd buy one.
I was going to post this
not that AK's are bad but it's a dressed up AK and it shoots like a AK. If you want a AK then get a proper AK and save some $$$. If your intension is something with more precision than go to a different platform
If you want something accurate with cheap ammo (same caliber), buy a Mosin Sniper somewhere.
Wasn't there a thread where someone just bought a PSL?
Yeah, you're not going to get anything close to Dragunov accuracy with a PSL.
are you looking for a long range scoped rifle? if so for $900 you can get a much more accurate weapon and optics imo.
if u want a psl or fpk, anywhere in the $750-$1000 range is right depending on condition.
i'd rather have that
Have you already put an order in with the CMP?
I'm driving there in December.
I bet my Mosin is just as accurate with no scope, and only cost $100.
My 91/30 is quite accurate.
I've been quite please with my M44, but only with the bayonet out
I've considered a scout scope for it, but it's not really worth the money and effort for a $100 gun.
I've got a mount, I picked it up for $10 on eBay before they stopped being so gun friendly. I couldn't bring myself to buy a scope either. With open sights I can knock soda cans around at 150 yards all day so it's plenty accurate.
you won't see any Service Grades in store and reports are the field grades are getting shittier daily.
That's not what I was told on the phone the other week.
I planned on calling them before I go, I have family in Alabama that I go see every year. I'll maybe pick one up outside the CMP if they don't have any SA Service grades when I'm looking to go on my trip.
If I cannot buy one from the CMP though, I probably won't. I'm not paying $800 for some trash, almost field grade rifle that won't hit the side of a barn like most individuals are selling them for.
