    You could put salt in the water to lower the freezing point and get the water even colder.

    Also, when people are dieting they typically need potassium too, so two birds with one stone.

    Per a 16oz cup of water, I drink 192oz of Ice water so that means I burn an extra 200 calories a day

    Salt chemically is sodium chloride (NaCl). The thing that's added to salt is iodine. Some people use the term potassium salt, but it's not correct :

    & try putting some lemon in it to help avoid water retention.
