Drove a G8 today. If this car was a Chevy, it could have saved GM.

Okay, maybe not saved. But seriously, the G8 is an automobile masterpiece and feels nothing like anything Pontiac or GM has ever put out in the past.

The interior is great in person, and fucking comfy as hell. The car and ride itself is also just :wackit:.

Should have been the new Impala.

    Oy.

I then sat in a new DTS.

Fucking amazing seats. But the rest of the interior DIDN'T compare at all to the G8.

    Indeed.

    :ugh: Maybe by Audi's standards.

But for a GM it's luxurious.

I drove a G8 GT. Definitely a nice car. Interior was not as nice as the LS1/LS2 GTOs, but it was a lot more practical than the GTO.

    Spring Break.

I know it looks good online and the reviews are good.

But you truly have no clue how great of a job Holden did until you drive it.

So the G8 sackrider finally had a few minutes in one..at least you can now back up your outlandish claims of the G8's superiority over all other cars in the 30ish-k range. :bigthumb:

Make it an Impala, then push the hell out of it as PI's and  family cars.

The 50/50weight makes it a great car in the snow too (so I've read).
